The Medical Superintendent is the overall head of the institution and Head of the Department in terms of administrative and financial powers for the institution. He is assisted by DMS (Admn.), DMS (M), Chief Medical Officers, Assistant Nursing Supdt., Specialists and Senior Resident doctors in various disciplines, General Duty Medical Officers, Junior Resident doctors, Nurses, Paramedical and other staff. In addition to their usual duties most medical officers are assigned one or other administrative responsibilities besides clinical duties.

DMS(M) is clinical head of all departments and monitors/assists their day to day function and implement the government plans and policies in interest of better patient care. He is also grievance officer to solve the problems of public and patients.

Administrative officer is DASS cadre officer and properly advices the medical superintendent and also branch head of all administrative staffs.

Account Officer is financial head of the hospital and give advice on financial expenditure of the hospital.

The Medical Superintendent is the Plan Implementing Officer, formulates hospital policy, implements it and monitors the outcomes through various in-charges and supervisory staff. The DMS (Adm.) is functions as the Head of Office and Establishment and also the controlling officer for the hospital staff. The office superintendent and accounts officers report to him. Presently the hospital depends on paper-based management information systems (MIS) and has to bear its inherent inefficiencies. Plans are afoot to commission a computerized Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) so as to capture all management related and patient related data online and at source. The aim is to have the capacity keep all patient records in electronic form with data, image and audio etc. (Electronic Medical Records)
